A well maintained bathroom requires regular cleaning but even with weekly cleaning mould and mildew may still appear. Bathrooms usually are places with a lot of moisture because of the water used in showers, tubs and sinks, which makes them a breeding ground for black mould. The black mould affects mainly the grout in between tiles, but it can spread on the bathroom tiles as well if not treated on time.
