You are probably thinking: “What is this man talking about? When the time to move out comes, I will collect my things and leave.”. Well, it's not that simple.
Moving out really requires a lot of work. You can't just take your stuff and leave the property, you have to make it look as it looked when you first hired it. Here is a simple list of tasks which you have to accomplish. The list was politely shared with me by a professional from a move out cleaning London company:
- Take the vacuum cleaner and vacuum the cobwebs from the ceiling. If there is mould in the corners, spray it with bleach or pure white vinegar to remove it.
- Vacuum the carpets and wipe the wooden floors with a damp mop.
- If there are any stains on the carpets or upholstery furniture clean them. Otherwise, the landlord will considered them damaged.
- Dust the furniture.
- Clean the whole kitchen and the appliances in it. You probably have baked-on grease stains in your oven and on the stove, so remove them. Your fridge should be shiningly clean, too.
- Clean the tiles in the bathroom and wash the shower-curtain. Do not ignore the toilet, too. I know it is disgusting, but it has to be cleaned.
Of course, if you don't have the time to deal with end of tenancy cleaning, you can hire some move out cleaning London company. There are plenty of them in the British capital, so it won't be hard to find one working in your area.
