How to Steam Clean Marble Floors

Marble floors easily absorb germs, that's why they need not only mopping from time to time, but also special attention from your side. The regular mopping may lift the stains and bacteria from the upper surface, but beneath there is another hidden thin layer of grime. What you need is a good steam cleaner and you will have your work done for no time.

This is a very effective method, given from flooring Hammersmith experts and you can be sure it's free of chemicals. Only follow the guidelines below:

  • Replace everything that is situated on the floor;
  • First, clean your floor with a proper broom and trash the dirt into a dustpan;
  • Prepare your steam mop for the cleaning – fill its canister with clean water; For the purpose you can use a pitcher or a cup for water.
  • Keep the indicated fill line and don't overfill the canister with water;
  • Place the microfibre pad attachment into the cleaners as it should be easy to move and mop;
  • When you are going to start cleaning and turn on the steam mop, wait for half a minute for the water to heat;
  • Mop the whole floor by sections;
  • When you finish with steam mopping of the floor, turn off the mop and before replacing, wait for it to cool;
  • You can wash the microfibre pad in the washing machine as normal;
  • It would take a few minutes for the floor to fully dry.

As cleaners Hammersmith suggest, you now have a clean and free of bacteria and grime marble floor.
